Category CE Driving Courses
Category CE allows you to drive a category C truck combined with a trailer, where the trailer's maximum permitted mass exceeds 750 kg. This category is usually chosen by drivers who already hold category C and want to add trailer driving to their licence.
A standalone CE course, when you already hold category C, costs 500 €, the same whether you choose practical training alone or theory together with practical. An extra 2-academic-hour lesson costs 80 €. If you do not yet hold category C, it is often more economical to take the combined C+CE course for 1000 €, covering both categories at once.
Training focuses heavily on manoeuvring a combination with a trailer or semi-trailer – reversing, turning, and the braking characteristics of a vehicle that is considerably longer and heavier than a standalone truck. Theory classes are held at Vilniaus vairavimo mokykla's premises at V. Druskio g. 2 in Karoliniškės.
