Category B Driving Courses
Category B is the most common driving licence category, allowing you to drive passenger cars up to 3,500 kg in total weight with no more than 8 passenger seats, plus tow a trailer up to 750 kg. In Lithuania, training for this category can begin at age 18.
A full category B course includes theory and practical driving lessons, followed by the school's internal tests and then the official exams at Regitra. The price is 500 € for the whole course, the same whether you take practical training alone or theory together with practical. An extra 2-academic-hour driving lesson, if needed beyond the standard programme, costs 50 €.
Theory classes are held at Vilniaus vairavimo mokykla's premises at V. Druskio g. 2 in Karoliniškės, while practical driving routes are arranged individually by your instructor – based on where you live and your experience level, starting on quieter streets and gradually moving to more demanding city conditions.
