Motorcycle Licence Courses: A1, A2, A
Motorcycle categories in Lithuania are split by engine power and driver age: A1 (up to 125 cc and 11 kW, from age 16), A2 (up to 35 kW, from age 18), and A (no power limit, usually from age 24, or from age 20 if you have already held category A2 for two years).
A full course for any of these categories costs 300 €, the same whether you take practical driving lessons alone or theory together with practical. An extra 2-academic-hour driving lesson costs 50 €. The training programme covers basic motorcycle handling on a closed practice area first, then moves on to riding in real city traffic.
Theory classes are held at Vilniaus vairavimo mokykla's premises at V. Druskio g. 2 in Karoliniškės. Practical sessions are organised by your instructor so that core manoeuvring skills are built first, before moving on to riding alongside other traffic on public streets.
